PART 1:

A CASE FOR REPARATIONS

In PART 1 we examine the failed promises made to slaves and their descendants; what it means to be a nation built on white supremacy; institutionalized segregation; our current racial wealth gap; and human rights violations. From slavery and its legacy, the direct theft of wages, genocide, and the continued criminalization of Black Americans, the case for reparations is made clear.

PART 2:

THE HISTORY OF REPARATIONS FOR BLACKS IN THE USA

In PART 2, we cover the timeline of the movement for reparations for Black Americans and the way culture, religion, politics, and economics have influenced the national moral consensus.

In PART 3 we explore several ideas - and the pros & cons - of what reparations could look like in the United States. We examine how the US can repair the economic, spiritual, physical, and moral damage that perpetuates in our culture and systems. Including: government policy; education; cash distribution; housing and land; grassroots/community reparations; and more.
